John Macy, PT, PRC, began teaching Alexander Technique in 1982 and practicing physical therapy in 1985. He trained extensively with Marjorie Barstow, (the first teacher of the Technique to be certified by F.M. Alexander,) from 1982 until shortly before her death in 1995.

John has taught workshops throughout the United States and Europe, offering classes and presentations on the Technique to performing artists, athletes and the general population. He is currently the co-owner of Ronin West Physical Therapy, and The Workout Omaha, a pilates studio.
